On November 30, 2022, the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), the Bastiat Society of Argentina, the Thomas Jefferson Institute for the Americas, the Libertarian Movement of Santa Fe (PL), and the Youth of the Libertarian Movement of Santa Fe (JPL), will host the book presentation “Public Policies That Hurt the Poor” by Juan Sebastián Landoni and Luciano Villegas.
Juan Sebastián Landoni was born in Concordia, Entre Ríos, on February 7, 1969. He studied Economics at the National University of Rosario (UNR) and a Master’s and Doctorate in Economics at the Higher School of Economics and Business Administration (ESEADE) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a university professor and researcher. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the Francisco Marroquín University (UFM) in Guatemala, at the Argentine Catholic University (UCA) and at the National University of Rosario (UNR). Member of the Friedman Hayek Center for the Study of a Free Society (UCEMA). He is the author of the book Institutional Entrepreneur (Episteme, 2015) and has published several articles in books and academic journals.
Luciano Villegas has a degree in Economics, and is a professor of Economics from the National University of Rosario (UNR). He also has a master’s degree in Financial Asset Management from the Higher School of Economics and Business Administration (ESEADE) Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has worked from 2008 to 2013 in a well-known currency exchange and stock exchange company in Rosario. Between 2014 and 2016, he was an economic columnist for the radio show “con sentido común” broadcasted every morning in CNN Radio in Rosario, and since August 2013 he has advised private companies. He currently teaches undergraduate courses at the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), the Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano (UCEL) and the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR), as well as specializations at Fundación Libertad and master’s degrees at UNR and Universidad Austral. Since February 2022, he has been an Economist at Fundación Libertad in Rosario.

El 30 de Noviembre de 2022, el American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), la Sociedad Bastiat de Argentina, el Thomas Jefferson Institute for the Americas, el Movimiento Libertario de Santa Fe (PL) y la Juventud del Movimiento Libertario de Santa Fe (JPL), presentarán el libro “Pagan los pobres” en un evento en el que disertarán sus autores: Juan Sebastián Landoni y Luciano Villegas.
Juan Sebastián Landoni nació en Concordia, Entre Ríos, el 7 de febrero de 1969. Estudió la Licenciatura en Economía en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) y la Maestría y el Doctorado en Economía en la Escuela Superior de Economía y Administración de Empresas (ESEADE) de Argentina. Es docente e investigador universitario. Ejerce la docencia en carreras de grado y posgrado en la Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM) de Guatemala, en la Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) y en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR). Miembro del Friedman Hayek Center for the Study of a Free Society (UCEMA). Es autor del libro Empresario institucional (Episteme, 2015) y publicó varios artículos en libros y revistas académicas.
Luciano Villegas es licenciado en Economía y profesor universitario de Economía por la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) así como magíster en Administración de Activos Financieros por la Escuela Superior de Economía y Administración de Empresas (ESEADE, Argentina). Trabajó de 2008 a 2013 en una reconocida casa de cambio y sociedad de bolsa de Rosario. Entre 2014 y 2016 fue columnista económico del programa Con sentido común,que se emite todas las mañanas por CNN Radio Rosario, y desde agosto de 2013 asesora empresas. Actualmente dicta clases en carreras de grado en la Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), la Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano (UCEL) y en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) así como especializaciones en Fundación Libertad y maestrías en UNR y Universidad Austral. Desde febrero de 2022 se desempeña como Economista de la Fundación Libertad de Rosario.
